One more riddle of ancient world - Baalbeck in Lebanon sanctuary.
This is an enormous stone platform of monolithic blocks weighed in at 800 tons, but even modern appliances can work with blocks weighing 200 - 300 tonnes maximum..............
and only recent Romans built a temple to Jupiter on it ......
